As a first-time real estate buyer, you want your experience to be pleasant, professional, thorough and stress-free. First Priority Title Services is committed to just that. We’d like to recommend a few tips to help prepare you for the big day:

1) Start decluttering and organize packing your existing space.
This can seem daunting. Organize and plan each room and give yourself extra time to sort through the little things. Sell or donate items unnecessary belongs and outdated furniture. Schedule an appointment with your mover.

2) Call your utility companies.
Notifiy your untility companies a few weeks in advance with your new address. Check to see if the HOA covers some of your utilities. Pay any outstanding utilities bills before you move.

3) Gather and finalize home insurance for closing day.
Contact your insurance brokers early so that if they need to go to the home, there’s time.

And don’t forget to bring the following to closing:
-Closing Paperwork
-Cashier’s or Certified Check
-Proof of Homeowner’s Insurance
-Photo ID

Always feel free to contact us for a free quote. We look forward to hearing from you!
